Your new role:
This Expression of Interest (EOI) gathers information to identify applicants for future temporary opportunities. If suitable, your details will remain in the pool for (9) months, and Metro South Health may contact you for roles matching your experience, including participation in interviews, reference checks, or pre-employment checks as required.

You will provide high-quality patient care and support junior staff by:
- Managing and treating patients under supervision.
- Maintaining accurate medical records.
- Conducting assessments, procedures, and investigations.
- Guiding junior staff and collaborating with nursing and allied health teams.
- Working rostered shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
About you:
You will thrive in this role with strong clinical skills, teamwork, and a commitment to ongoing learning, shown by:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, with registration eligible for the Medical Board of Australia.
- Proven experience in acute care and emergency medicine procedural skills.
- High-level written and oral communication with patients, families, and health professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and postgraduate medical training.

Logan Hospital, a major health centre in one of Queensland's fastest-growing areas, provides medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, and rehabilitation services. As a teaching hospital, we support staff and students with extensive training and participate in research through partnerships with leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland. Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
