  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Sexual Violence Review Board and the Sexual Offence Case Management Pilot program board, to review prosecution cases with a focus on sexual violence and sexual offending.
  • Provide high-quality data and analytics, responding to requests for information related to the prosecution of sexual offences to support evidence-based decision making.
  • Contribute to the prosecution monitoring and review framework, offering expert advice to legal practitioners involved in active prosecutions to enhance case outcomes and procedural integrity.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated legal practice capabilities, preferably developed through experience in criminal law practice, along with a strong understanding of the legal framework and operations of the justice sector.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal challenges and negotiate for outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of trauma-informed practice, ensuring sensitivity and care in victim-centric services.
  • Leadership capability, including the ability to lead and collaborate with a team of legal and administrative professionals, driving accountability and delivering results.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, cultural maturity, and the highest standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring respect and fairness in all aspects of your work.
