Your new role:
As an Administration Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring patients, clinicians, and staff receive timely and accurate administrative support. Working closely with clinical teams, you'll help coordinate patient flow, manage appointments, and maintain critical information systems that support quality care delivery.
- This position is required to work Monday to Friday: 6.30-14.36
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing reception enquiries, phone calls, and message coordination
- Coordinating patient appointments, bookings, cancellations, and waitlists
- Supporting patient flow across Day Surgery and Treatment Units
- Preparing, maintaining, and tracking medical records (electronic and manual)
- Assisting with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers

About us:
The Day Surgery and Treatment Unit (DSTU) participates in the care coordination process of patients undergoing surgical procedures to ensure coordinated, effective, and efficient service delivery. The DSTU provides patient access to two operating theatres where rapid turn-over, elective surgical and respiratory procedures are performed. Its aim is to deliver value driven, efficient and comprehensive expert health care by a multidisciplinary team to clients requiring surgical intervention, medical infusions, and procedures, resulting in optimal health outcomes.
