Your new role:
In this role, you will deliver high-quality environmental health services to protect and promote public health across the Metro South region.
- Administer and enforce public health legislation, including investigations into environmental health matters and communicable diseases
- Manage a diverse caseload, delivering evidence-based assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team
- Engage with industry, community members and stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and public health outcomes
- Contribute to service improvement, research activities and the ongoing development of professional practices
About you:
You are a motivated and capable Environmental Health professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred public health outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to apply environmental health knowledge and enforce public health legislation in a practical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders
- Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and maintain accurate records
- Commitment to continuous professional development, with the ability to contribute to team learning, supervision and service improvement initiatives
