About the role
Temporary part‑time opportunity to provide advanced operational and workforce leadership within Women and Children's Services, supporting the coordination of human and material resources and contributing to effective business practices, service delivery, and high‑quality, consumer‑centred care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Provide leadership within a legal, professional, and ethical framework that ensures contemporary consumer/person centred care and staff management practices.
- Collaborate in the application and evaluation of contemporary human, material, and financial resource management for the interprofessional environment.
- Accountable for promoting effective and cost-efficient management of hospital resources and services in collaboration with the Nursing and Midwifery Director, Women and Children's and other unit managers.
