  • Base salary range: $3038.50 to $3379.10 p.f. (AO3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Clinical Information Administration Services has an exciting opportunity within the Emergency Department at Townsville University Hospital, where you will help support exceptional person‑centred care for patients, families and the community.

The Administration Officer plays a key role in providing high‑quality administrative support in a fast‑paced hospital environment. As a valued member of the team, you will work with stakeholders to coordinate day‑to‑day administrative operations across the Emergency Department and the wider Clinical Information Administration Service. Professionalism, empathy and strict confidentiality are essential.

Townsville University Hospital's Emergency Department treats approximately 90,000 patients each year, and this role provides responsive and effective administrative support to the 24‑hour service.

This position involves continuous shiftwork, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays, ensuring round‑the‑clock support for patient needs.
