- Salary range: $00,000 to $00,000 p.a. (Classification)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
As a key member of the Townsville Mental Health Service Group, the Nurse Practitioner within the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Service (ATODS) delivers advanced, person-centred nursing care to individuals, families, and groups affected by substance use.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualification: Master of Nursing Science (Nurse Practitioner) or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health and/or Alcohol and Other Drug would be well regarded.
- Highly Desirable: Credentialed status (or willingness to undertake and complete requirements) with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and/or Drug and Alcohol Nurses of Australasia (DANA).
- Driver Licence: This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.
