Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $79,051 to 122,048 p.a. (HP3/NG 6(1))
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Rural and Remote Mental Health Program provides mental health and alcohol and drugs services to rural and remote communities within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service area. These services are coordinated through four community mental health teams located in Palm Island, Ingham, Burdekin and Charters Towers. This employment opportunity is located in the Burdekin Mental Health Service based at the Ayr Hospital.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- For nursing: Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- For Health Practitioners: Relevant Tertiary Qualification from an accredited institution in either Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy.
- All employees of the Mental Health Service Group (MHSG) may be required to work in other areas of the Service.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class “C” motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
