What we're looing for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Delivers excellent, patient-centred oral health care to eligible patients across community, rural and correctional oral health services
- Understands the policy frameworks, waiting list guidelines, and standard range of treatment for public dental care in Queensland and can effectively distribute available resources to maximise care to the community
- Effectively manages clients' expectations and deals with clients' complaints in conjunction with Director and CLO, whilst understanding and educating patients on their rights and responsibilities.
- Well-developed clinical leadership skills to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams across various clinical settings.
- Able to effectively deliver and receive feedback, coach and develop high performing teams and implement supportive performance improvement strategies
- Demonstrated ability to use data, reports and feedback to identify areas for improvement and plan, implement and evaluate Quality Improvement activities that deliver meaningful improvements for patients and staff.
- Enjoys their job and profession and remains focused on their own continuous development.
- Ability to make informed, effective, and timely decisions to support achievement of organisation goals
Mandatory Requirements
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
