What You'll Do:

  • Oversee race day operations, ensuring compliance with the Rules of Racing and QRIC policies.
  • Manage high-pressure, high-stakes race meetings with professionalism and integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain transparency and uphold the reputation of Queensland racing.
  • Provide expert advice, lead investigations, and support appeal hearings as a subject matter expert.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong understanding of the Rules of Racing and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills to inspire and guide a team of stewards.
  • Exceptional decision-making and analytical abilities to handle high-risk situations.
  • A commitment to animal welfare, integrity, and ethical behaviour.
  • A current driver's licence and the ability to travel across Queensland.
