What You'll Do:
- Oversee race day operations, ensuring compliance with the Rules of Racing and QRIC policies.
- Manage high-pressure, high-stakes race meetings with professionalism and integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain transparency and uphold the reputation of Queensland racing.
- Provide expert advice, lead investigations, and support appeal hearings as a subject matter expert.
What We're Looking For:
- A strong understanding of the Rules of Racing and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills to inspire and guide a team of stewards.
- Exceptional decision-making and analytical abilities to handle high-risk situations.
- A commitment to animal welfare, integrity, and ethical behaviour.
- A current driver's licence and the ability to travel across Queensland.
