Wynnum State High School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Manager (AO6) to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing the school's financial, administrative, and operational functions to support the effective delivery of educational services. The Business Manager plays a key role in strategic planning, resource management, and ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Working closely with the principal and leadership team, the successful applicant will lead corporate services, including finance, human resources, facilities management, and asset management.

About the opportunity:
- Provide strategic advice to support business service delivery, manage competing priorities, and drive best practice outcomes.
- Develop and implement administrative systems, policies, and processes in a complex school environment.
- Lead and manage human resources for support staff, including recruitment, performance, workforce planning, and change management.
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, compliance, and providing strategic financial advice.
- Manage school facilities, assets, and maintenance, including contractor coordination and minor works projects.
- Ensure effective resource management aligned to the school's strategic direction, utilising contemporary systems and technology.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, fostering a positive team culture and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Lead within school and community networks, influencing stakeholders and promoting innovation and best practice.
