As a Senior Dental Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting clinicians and patients by ensuring reliable, high‑quality technical outcomes that underpin oral health care across the region. From complex technical problem‑solving to guiding future practice, your work will help deliver care people can trust.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Delivering complex dental laboratory work to a consistently high standard, enabling safe and effective patient care
- Providing expert technical advice that supports sound treatment planning and confident clinical decisions
- Guiding workflow and priorities within the laboratory to meet service demands and turnaround expectations
- Coaching and mentoring colleagues while contributing ideas that improve quality, safety, and efficiency
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who combines deep technical capability with pride in doing work that matters. You bring calm judgement, precision, and accountability to everything you do, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge to lift those around you. You'll feel proud knowing your expertise supports better outcomes for patients and strengthens services across a regional community. You're driven by compassion, act with integrity, respect dignity in others, and aren't afraid to show courage and innovation in how work gets done.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Recognised qualification as a Dental Technician in Australia
- Proven experience delivering complex dental laboratory services with a high level of autonomy
- Strong organisation skills to manage workflows and competing priorities
- A collaborative mindset with confidence to guide, mentor, and support others
You'll stand out if you have experience in regional or multidisciplinary settings and enjoy contributing to service improvement or mentoring junior staff.
At its heart, this role is about using your expertise to make a meaningful difference—every patient, every day—while living the values that define Darling Downs Health.
