What you'll do
In this role you will apply specialist knowledge of medicines, legislation and regulation to support safe and effective healthcare practices across Queensland. You will monitor emerging trends, contribute to policy development and support implementation of regulatory changes. You will provide clear advice and briefings, engage stakeholders and support continuous improvement of systems and processes.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Possession of a Public Health or Pharmacy Qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated high level quality use of medicines and pharmaceutical knowledge, and/or contemporary regulatory practice and legislative knowledge and skills as well as broad knowledge of healthcare settings and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as an effective team member, ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic environment in the provision of expert medicines, poisons, legislative and contemporary regulatory practice to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated highly advanced written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with staff at all levels within the organisation and external stakeholders, including development and maintenance of professional networks with a range of organisations.
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
