About Your Role
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to provide operational and clinical leadership across perioperative services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership across theatres, PACU, and perioperative areas
- Coordinate staffing, resources, and patient flow
- Support safe, high-quality, person-centred care delivery
- Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff
- Contribute to quality improvement and clinical governance
- Lead change initiatives and service improvements
About You
You are an experienced perioperative nurse with strong leadership capability and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You thrive in dynamic environments and are confident guiding teams and driving outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated leadership or ANUM experience
- Advanced clinical and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage resources and coordinate teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
- Experience in quality improvement and clinical governance
- Confidence in mentoring and developing staff
