About the role
Permanent or Fixed Term Part Time opportunity to provide professional expertise and services for STARS and Metro North Health through the Department of Gastroenterology, with responsibility for supporting clinical leadership, education, research, quality assurance and governance activities; assisting in departmental management, workforce oversight and policy implementation; and promoting the delivery of safe, effective and evidence‑based gastroenterology care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- The clinical care of patients allocated to you, applying high-level knowledge and skills.
- Maintenance of appropriate Credentials and working within your awarded Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) as determined by the HHS and within the limitations of the Clinical Service Capability Framework (CSCF) of STARS.
- Maintenance of registration as a specialist medical practitioner in Gastroenterology.
- Providing high quality expert consultation and advice directly to patients, other colleagues and including to GPs.
