We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $5557.50 to $5798.90 p.f. (HP5)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

Contributes to a 7-day extended hours physiotherapy service within the Emergency Department at The Townsville University Hospital delivering advanced practice physiotherapy clinical services and professional leadership. The position is integral to maintaining standards of physiotherapy practice in the Emergency Department and contributing to the development of physiotherapy services in this area.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • Possession of a qualification in physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and current registration, or eligibility for current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Highly desirable: post graduate qualifications, significant expertise in Musculoskeletal, Sports Physiotherapy or Emergency Physiotherapy. Highly desirable Level II or higher membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association's Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia
  • The incumbent must be available to complete a competency based training program in Advanced/Extended Scope Physiotherapy.
  • Licence to Operate Vehicle: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
