As Senior Advisor, in this role you will:
• provide guidance and support to ensure the provision of consistent, timely, high-quality services and advice to the department
• co-ordinate compliance projects and activities - such as governance and planning (including strategic and specific purpose planning), performance management, reporting (including Service Delivery Statements, Annual Report and Government Commitments) and risk management - to strengthen the department's governance and assurance maturity
• coordinate and undertake research and analysis to support the development, implementation and review of corporate frameworks, registers, policies, procedures, processes and strategies
• develop and facilitate corporate training and awareness activities to support compliance with legislative, governance and assurance obligations
• prepare high-quality professional documentation, reports, correspondence, briefing notes, plans, submissions, presentations and other documentation, in relation to a range of corporate issues
• actively contribute to an innovative team that values continuous improvement and a collaborative culture focused on achievement of objectives within approved
timeframes and budgets
• contribute to a workplace culture based on values and behaviours, ensuring a positive work environment that is safe, healthy, diverse, respectful and inclusive.
