About the role:
- Provision of a sound level of clinical services (which includes crisis intervention treatment, provision of psychotherapy, case management, consultation, health promotion, early identification/intervention, liaison and education) in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- As experience builds, apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision.
- Provide input in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the Child and Youth Mental Health clinical services.
- Actively participate in the team, including the provision of outreach services to surrounding areas and participation in extended hour's service as negotiated.
- Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities.
About you:
- Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work and Working with Children Clearance
- A relevant postgraduate qualification is highly desirable for this position.
- Demonstrated competency knowledge and skill in specialist mental health clinical area as it pertains to children, young people and their carers and support networks.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical professional services including assessment, treatment planning, case management and written reports as part of the multi-disciplinary team; more advanced clinicians will demonstrate the ability to provide services to more complex cases.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the ongoing development of an evidence-based model of service delivery through participation in service evaluation, research, and quality improvement activities.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
