About Us:
The Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure team leads service and infrastructure planning and oversees major capital projects across CHHHS. The team works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure planning aligns with models of care, workforce needs and government priorities. Its focus is on delivering sustainable infrastructure that supports safe, effective health services.
About the role:
- Lead and manage multiple medium to large scale or risk projects ensuring they are completed within the Queensland Health project management methodology (project lifecycle).
- Effectively manage the engagement and performance of project consultants and contractors to enable the delivery of an on time, on budget, are high quality standard and operational commissioned with service readiness achieved.
- Ensure project outcomes are achieved, and project management capability is maintained by leading a multi-disciplinary team within a complex health and regionally specific environment.
- Provide effective budgetary, financial, and technical planning in order to enable the smooth operation of the projects.
- Manage projects by monitoring and reporting on project related trends and performance against project plans and budgets and identify risks to the project and coordinate and lead discussions with key stakeholder on critical issues and risks.
