About your role:
- The Nursing Director Access and Redesign is a registered nurse who provides advanced leadership in Nursing and Midwifery management and possess high level understanding of contemporary patient flow constructs/models/service applications.
- Responsible key elements for responding to access and demand priorities at Cairns Hospital and supporting linkages for access with CHHHS Rural Facilities.
- Lead the ongoing design, planning, development, implementation and monitoring of patient flow strategies and provides high level advice to the Chief Operating Officer, Cairns Hospital Director of Nursing and Midwifery, Rural and Remote Services Director of Nursing and Midwifery and the Executive leadership team in relation to broader access initiatives, priorities and strategies.
