Your new role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate minor capital works and maintenance projects across a large and complex healthcare environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes. You will:

  • Coordinate, plan, and deliver minor new works and maintenance projects within budget and timeframes
  • Lead and manage multi-skilled trades, contractors, and resources across multiple sites
  • Provide technical advice and ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and policies
  • Oversee contractor performance, procurement processes, and quality assurance activities

About you:

You are a skilled trade professional with strong leadership capability and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes in complex environments. You have:

  • Trade qualifications with experience managing multi-disciplinary trades teams in asset-rich environments
  • Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WHS, compliance, procurement, and maintenance systems

About the Maintenance Services, Assets & Infrastructure Division

Metro South Maintenance Services are the incumbent maintenance provider for Metro South Health Hospitals and Health Service (MSH) Facilities, with the primary objective of managing the corrective and preventative maintenance for all MSH infrastructure and facilities. Metro South's asset management objectives define the approach for delivering maintenance outcomes and the role of Maintenance management in supporting the achievement of the Organisational objectives.
