The Corporate Governance Team is responsible for ensuring that RSHQ's corporate governance framework complies with external and internal accountability requirements, guides performance improvements, and supports RSHQ to achieve the objectives in our Strategic Plan 2025-2029 and vision of zero serious harm.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Governance, you will help improve RSHQ's performance and risk management frameworks, co-ordinate our annual reporting including RSHQ's annual report, annual complaints report and Regulator Performance Report, co-ordinate our Estimates preparation and provide expert advice on improving governance systems and practices across the agency.
For this role, you will need to apply your:
- experience in governance to provide expert advice across our work program.
- research, analytical and drafting skills to prepare and review policies, reports, briefing notes, submissions and a range of other documentation.
- excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to communicate with influence.
- strategic and business improvement pro-active approach.
- ability to identify novel and innovative solutions to improve systems and processes.
This role has two direct reports.
No mandatory qualifications are required for this position. However, a qualification in business, policy, risk or governance would be highly regarded.
