Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Lead with project level oversight and delivery accountability of end-to-end digital elements of a complex program of works. As a Digital Lead you will have accountability for scope, schedule, budget, requirements, customer, stakeholder management, digital planning, and vendor management to enable delivery of all digital components within new builds and ongoing redevelopment of large Hospital facilities through to the successful conclusion of the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Program/Project.

The role:
Queensland Health is currently undertaking one of the largest health infrastructure programs ever seen in Australia. The largest of these, the Hospital Rescue Plan (HRP) is a visionary program designed to bring service and capabilities to more Queenslanders than ever before. The Hospital Rescue Plan will deliver 3 new hospitals, a new Queensland Cancer Centre, and the expansion of 11 existing hospitals resulting in 2,600 additional beds across Queensland.

Are you right for this role?
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- High level leadership, and management of complex high-risk IM/ICT Projects.
- Leads project planning, scheduling, controlling, and reporting activities for strategic, high impact, high risk projects.
- Develops accurate budgets (within a probability range) and forecasts for projects including tracking actual, maintenance, and support costs. Drives adoption of, and adherence to, financial management policies and standards.
- Demonstrates flexibility in response to change and supports the workforce to embrace new expectations through clarity of the intended outcomes.
- Facilitates the early adoption of emerging digital technologies and data to deliver greater efficiency in services.
The following experience will be highly regarded:
- Demonstrated experience in new hospital projects (ideally within Queensland Health) and understands the commercial constructs under which the digital scope is delivered.
- Demonstrated experience in brownfield construction projects and in particular healthcare capital development projects will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex ICT infrastructure projects in a building construction environment.
- Understanding technology streams, network, phones, EUC etc.
- At this senior level multiple projects would have had to be undertaken by the successful candidate to be considered.

About the Digital Capital Program - eHealth Queensland
eHealth Queensland (eHQ) is one of the largest Information Communication Technology operations in the state. eHQ advises on state-wide eHealth innovation, strategy, planning, standards, architecture and governance and is responsible for delivering clinical, corporate and infrastructure ICT programs in line with the Queensland Health vision and investment priorities, providing modern ICT infrastructure and customer support for desktop, mobile, smart devices, telehealth, data centres, network and security.
The Delivery Services Branch (DSB) is Queensland Health's trusted partner and advisor for digital health project delivery excellence.
DSB ensures the successful delivery of major IT projects, operational ICT delivery and initiatives to our customers across Queensland Health for the benefit of all Queenslanders. This function is critical to eHealth Queensland realising its overall vision, which is to 'advance healthcare through digital innovation'.
The DCP has been established within DSB to support the delivery of the Queensland Government Health Infrastructure Capital Program in partnership with the Health Capital Division to meet the growing demand for health services.
eHQ were appointed the Master System Integrator (MSI) for all health infrastructure capital projects and have established the DCP to standardise and centralise the delivery of digital components required for all Health Infrastructure Capital Program initiatives.
