About the Team
The Child and Youth Community Health Service (CYCHS) at Children's Health Queensland provide a range of community-based health services for children, young people and their families in the Brisbane metropolitan area as well at outreach services across Queensland.
About the Role
The Healthy Kindy Kids program provides free health checks for children attending kindergarten to identify and address any potential health or developmental needs early on. This program aims to give children the best start to their education by ensuring they have the necessary support before starting school.
The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of allied health services as part of the Healthy Kindy Kids team across Children's Health Queensland (CHQ) catchment. Duties undertaken by the position will be completed under the direct or indirect supervision of a qualified allied health professional.
This role will be delivered in various kindergarten locations and require travel within the community.
