We're excited to welcome a Social Worker Senior to Acute Restorative Care (ARC).

The ARC overarching purpose is to provide timely, patient-centred interprofessional care for older persons who are cognitively or physically frail, ensuring a caring environment where their needs and welfare are valued. Within this framework, the purpose of the social work service is to address the complex psychosocial, emotional, and practical needs of these older persons and their families across the continuum from acute to subacute and restorative care. Social workers in hospital settings work collaboratively as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).

Key Responsibilities include:

• This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Health Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
• Deliver independent high level social work clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced social work practitioners and students as delegated.

Remuneration value up to $157 359 p.a., comprising salary between $128 169 - $137918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4).
