We're excited to welcome a Clinical Assistant Advanced Team Leader to our Pharmacy service.

The position will provide high level pharmaceutical services to the patients of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) in accordance with their needs and the policies and priorities of the Health Service.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide support to professional staff and undertake duties to relieve pharmacists of non-professional and technical tasks to ensure pharmaceutical services of the highest standard are provided in the most cost-effective manner. 
• Minimise prescription preparation, labelling and patient record errors. 
• Manage a small team of Clinical Assistants to provide an efficient and effective pharmaceutical service, including but not limited to medication procurement, distribution, dispensing and stock take of pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy and designated areas of the hospital according to workplace instructions.
• Manage operational activities including staff allocation, rostering, prioritising work, coordinating the work of others and the continual refining, reviewing and implementing of departmental work practice procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Remuneration value up to $2395.48 p.f., comprising salary rates: $43.38 - $46.04 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA5) (Fixed term temporary part position, 45.6 hrs p.f. for up to 6 months).
