About the role:
This is more than just a clinical role—it's your opportunity to lead, influence and grow. You'll provide high-quality General Medicine services across inpatient and outpatient care, participate in on-call rosters, and contribute to outreach and telehealth services across the region.
You'll play a key role in mentoring junior doctors and trainees, supporting education and research, and shaping service delivery as part of a multidisciplinary team. With involvement in Hospital in the Home (HITH) and evolving training programs, you'll be at the forefront of both patient care and future workforce development.
About you:
- You will hold MBBS or equivalent to be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Registration as a Specialist in General Medicine with the Australian Health Practitioner Authority (AHPRA). In general, this will require Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians General Medicine (FRACP).
- Enrolment and maintenance of ongoing CME program of appropriate bodies is mandatory.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $557,878 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary rate between $216,643 - $251,642 p.a. (L18-L24)
- A salary rate between $259,072 - $274,678 p.a. (L25-L27)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
