Health and Wellbeing Queensland (HWQld) is looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Executive Support Officer to provide confidential executive support and strategic advice to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO).

As the Senior Executive Officer, you will collaborate with the executive and senior leadership teams, the HWQld executive support team, and key stakeholders across the public and private sectors to facilitate critical administrative and health promotion initiatives.

Your ability to manage complex priorities, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless communication will be integral to supporting the Deputy CEO.

Your opportunity
As the Senior Executive Support Officer you will be involved in:

  • Providing high level confidential advice and executive support to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and other Directors as required in a complex, fast-paced, high-pressure and sensitive working environment.
  • Monitoring and managing the Deputy Chief Executive Officer's day-to-day arrangements including vigilant, pro-active and logical electronic diary planning, appropriate venue set-up, effective prioritisation of urgent matters, emails and phone calls, and the accurate provision of associated meeting materials.
  • Maintaining an organised and methodical approach to task management and develop and implement systems to increase efficiencies that allow the Deputy Chief Executive Officer to operate with pace and accuracy.
