Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Base salary range: $68,471 to $71,983 p.a. (CA3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Shift allowances (where applicable
  • Plus great salary packaging options to increase take-home pay

About your opportunity

  • Contribute to patient care by delivering high quality medication management services as part of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) weekend Pharmacy Service.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team to complete technical and support tasks under the supervision of Pharmacists and Senior Pharmacy Assistants. Duties include drug distribution, stock management, prescription preparation and other related activities.

Requirements:

  • This position may include participation in a seven (7) day extended hours roster at Townsville University Hospital as part of the pharmacy team.
  • The successful applicant must be at least 16 years of age at the time of appointment in accordance with the Medicines and Poisons (Medicines) Regulation 2021).
