About us:
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) provide a level 5 Cardiology Service as classified by the Clinical Services Capabilities Framework. The Cardiology Unit comprises two wards and two Cardiac Catheter Labs delivering interventional and non- interventional services for patients located in both the CHHHS and Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS).

About your role:
- Lead business support activities for the service, including review of activities to ensure the team has high level support to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- Be responsible for the compliance, quality control and completion of documents relating to human resources, payroll, staff travel, contracts, procurement, finance and recruitment processes on behalf of the Cardiology Service management team.
- Lead business support activities such as preparing high-quality written correspondence including briefing notes to ensure high level support to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- Undertake review of activities to research, prepare and assist in the analysis of trends, providing data and advice to support/enhance service quality, research and strategic planning, including compliance with the organisation's policies and procedures related to quality patient care and the Financial Management Practice Manual.
