What your day could look like
As an Administration Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting clinical governance outcomes that protect patients, strengthen services and support the wider community. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholder groups, you'll bring structure, clarity and confidence to fast‑moving and sensitive situations, helping enable informed decisions across the health service.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Helping senior leaders stay focused on patient safety by anticipating priorities and managing competing demands
- Acting as a trusted point of contact, supporting clear communication between clinicians, executives and external partners
- Preparing high‑quality, confidential correspondence and briefings that support strong governance and accountability
- Strengthening teamwork through well‑coordinated meetings, clear follow‑up and practical problem solving
You'll be part of a collaborative environment where your work quietly supports outcomes that truly matter.
Let's Talk About You
You bring calm, clarity and care to everything you do. Trusted for your integrity and discretion, you think ahead and know how to balance urgency with accuracy. In this role, you'll feel proud knowing your work supports safer care, stronger governance and better outcomes for patients and staff. You're not just here to keep things moving — you're here to make things work better.
Here's what will help you thrive:
- Experience providing high‑level administrative or executive support in a fast‑paced, complex environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence handling sensitive documentation
- The ability to prioritise independently, manage deadlines and exercise sound judgement
- A values‑driven approach aligned with compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage
You'll stand out if you've supported senior leaders in healthcare, government or regulated settings, or worked with confidential or high‑risk information.
Above all, we're looking for someone proud to support a health service that puts people first and wants to make a quiet, meaningful difference every day.
