As Manager (Portfolio Prioritisation), you will lead portfolio governance and prioritisation activities supporting Queensland's rail investment program. Working within the Delivery Portfolio Management Office, you will provide high level, evidence-based advice to senior leaders to support informed rail investment decisions aligned to TMR's long term rail strategy.
In this role, you will:
- Lead portfolio level governance, controls and prioritisation across rail programs and sub programs.
- Provide strategic advice informed by analysis of complex portfolio, financial and delivery information, including trends, risks and interdependencies.
- Oversee time, cost, risk and scheduling controls, including baseline planning and program reporting against approved baselines.
- Identify, analyse and facilitate the resolution of interconnected risks and issues across a complex rail portfolio.
- Lead change through the establishment of clear governance frameworks, controls and expectations to support evolving delivery priorities.
- Apply sound governance, risk and assurance practices to monitor portfolio performance and support proactive mitigation strategies.
Role requirements:
Experience in program and portfolio management within large, complex infrastructure environments, particularly rail, will be highly regarded. Formal certifications such as P30® or MSP® Practitioner, while not mandatory, are highly desirable.
Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
It is a condition of employment for recommended appointee/s to disclose any previous serious discipline action taken against them for consideration by the delegate prior to any appointment.
