As the Head of Brand and Partnerships, you'll lead and guide a talented team of marketing, media and partnerships professionals to build a preeminent, trusted brand that unlocks growth to further support athletes, coaches, staff and partners. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Brand Management and Positioning: Strengthen and safeguard the QAS Brand through compelling storytelling, strategic content and brand placement, ensuring internal and external compliance with brand guidelines, and collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and new and traditional media to grow brand awareness.
• Communication Strategy: Lead the development and delivery of all communications, media and marketing activity from the Team, including proactive content generation, internal communications, campaign and marketing activity to support the QAS's strategic priorities, building QAS digital channels to reach and engage target audiences.
• Media & Crisis Management: Oversee the QAS's media responses in conjunction with the Minister's Office, and the QAS Board and CEO, as well as providing high-level advice to executive leaders and ministerial advisors to deliver strategically sensitive communications and media responses.
• Stakeholder & relationship management: Build and maintain positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders, including the Australian Olympic Committee, Paralympics Australia, the National Institute Network, National Sporting Organisations, agencies, and government, understanding their required outcomes, identifying opportunities to collaborate and leveraging partnership opportunities.
• Commercial and Philanthropic Partnerships: Work closely with agencies and internal stakeholders to lead the development and implementation of an integrated commercial and philanthropic partnerships strategy, leveraging the QAS Brand as an asset, bringing to life compelling impact-driven investment propositions.
• Revenue growth, budget & financial performance: Work closely with agencies and internal stakeholders to lead acquisition and renewal negotiations and take responsibility for the Brand and Partnerships Team budget, including value-in-kind tracking.
• Performance reporting & insights: Meet strategic, operational and contractual reporting timeframes, developing and executing team plans that translate strategic objectives into operational excellence.
• Governance, Compliance & Risk: Lead, promote and ensure all commercial and marketing activities comply with relevant legislation and comply with the QAS's policies and frameworks, particularly as it applies to athlete imagery and access, and ensure partnership rights or benefits don't infringe on compliance.
