The Global Investment Attraction (GIA) team collaborates across TIQ and engages with overseas investors and local investees to facilitate major productive inward investment projects.
Through this work the team helps to create new employment, enable technology transfer and drive new productive foreign investment into Queensland.
The GIA team engages with stakeholders including private sector companies, professional services firms, financial institutions and across various government agencies at a local, state, federal and international level to attract new overseas investment opportunities and projects to Queensland.

As the Manager - Global Investment Attraction, you will lead and manage a team of investment professionals within the GIA business unit and be accountable for people leadership, team performance and delivery of global investment opportunities and outcomes. The role is strategically focused on promoting Queensland and its investment opportunities to global markets, and facilitating investment and reinvestment into Queensland, from early engagement through to project landing and expansion. You will work closely with the Director, Global Investment Attraction and the Global Investment Commissioner to contribute to GIA strategy and business planning and support the delivery of complex global investment projects across priority industry sectors.
