Compliance Investigations Support Officer

About the role
Be part of the action behind QBCC's compliance and enforcement work at our vibrant Brisbane CBD office. In this role, you'll support investigations from the ground up - making inquiries. You'll help turn complaints into outcomes by issuing notices, recording findings and ensuring accurate, timely communication with customers and stakeholders.
Working alongside Compliance Investigation Officers and leaders, you'll keep cases moving - creating, tracking and supporting enforcement actions and contributing to site audit programs. With a balance of investigation, judgement and high‑quality support, this role offers hands‑on exposure to real compliance work in a fast‑moving regulatory environment.

About you
You're curious, switched‑on and thrive on turning information into action. You can connect the dots and apply legislation to support sound compliance and enforcement decisions. You communicate with clarity, producing concise reports that highlight key findings and recommend next steps. Tech‑savvy and organised, you're comfortable using systems like Salesforce, Microsoft Suite and ECM, managing competing priorities independently and staying focused under pressure.
You'll have an eye for improvement, naturally spotting where processes can be refined and taking pride in driving smarter, more efficient ways of working through continuous improvement.
