About us:

The Gladstone Integrated Services Team provides community based adult and child and youth mental health services to Gladstone and Surrounding areas. The team comprises of the extended hours Mental Health Intake Team, Adult Community Mental Health team, Step-Up-Step Down Mental Health Service, Child and Youth Mental Health Team and Consultation Liaison Officer. The Team Manager / Nurse Manager works closely with MIND Australia to support the collaborative care of consumers receiving care within the Step-Up-Step-Down facility.

About the role:

The Nurse Manager Community Services Team is a Registered Nurse (RN) who is accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of meeting best practice standards for clinical practice, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team for CQMHAODS through the provision of effective and efficient human and material resources. The Nurse Manager will effectively contribute as a member of the leadership group within Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service to lead a team to deliver contemporary mental health services.

This role provides clinical expertise, operational management and leadership for a multi-disciplinary team working across a number of Central Queensland Hospital and Health Services sites. The role applies well-developed clinical knowledge and skill and human, financial and resource management to contribute to the strategic direction of the service and provides authoritative counsel to internal and external stakeholders.

About you:

Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Registered Nurse

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $73.12 - $76.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
