About the role
Care will be provided within the scope of practice granted by MNH Credentialing. The exceptional care that our patients receive is provided through multidisciplinary teamwork, leadership and the effective implementation of quality and safety systems. The position also actively participates in research, the development and implementation of education and training, not just with medical staff but across the multidisciplinary team in line with best practice. This position will also assist the Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology to manage the resources of the department to best meet clinical workload and financial targets.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- To actively support and implement evidence-based practice in Obstetrics and Gynaecology care within the scope of practice granted by RBWH
- To take clinical responsibility for the medical care of allocated patients referred to the Women's and Newborn Service at the RBWH.
- The successful candidate will participate in Obstetrics and Gynaecology inpatient and outpatient clinical services including ward rounds, theatre related to O&G, Birth suite duties and/or General/Laparoscopic Gynaecology.
