  • Base salary range: $69,486 to $72,833 p.a. (OO3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Shift allowances (where applicable)

  • Plus great salary packaging options to increase take-home pay

About your opportunity

  • Provide frontline security and emergency response services, including responding to staff duress alarms, fire alarms and requests for assistance.
  • Maintain a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors through patrols, monitoring facilities and supporting clinical teams.
  • Operate and monitor CCTV, electronic security systems and access controls to ensure the security of hospital buildings and infrastructure.
  • Prevent, investigate and document security incidents, including theft, damage, trespass and behavioural concerns.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including nights, weekend and public holidays. 
  • Completion of a functional capacity assessment and disclosure of any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when responding to challenging situations.

Well regarded:

  • Certificate III in Security Operations (or equivalent/higher).
  • Current security licence.
