Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
About the Role
- Reporting to the Digital Training Manager, you will implement and train many digital technology-enabling projects being rolled out across Metro North Health. The successful candidate will also deliver, coordinate or support training and education activities that the Queensland Digital Academy hosts to develop digital capacity and capability across the Hospital and Health Service to support Digital Metro North digital projects.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Deliver training within a digital healthcare environment to support the provision of the highest standards of safety, quality care and services to meet the requirements of Metro North HHS.
- Manage the delivery of all adult learning activities, including maintaining materials and resources for use in education and training.
- Co-design and deliver presentations, forums and education sessions as required across the Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
- Undertake, and participate in ethical decision-making to achieve organisational goals.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, considering risks and impacts for consumer/person care.
- Support, nurture and sustain a culture of continuous quality improvement and support research and education priorities in alignment with the Digital Metro North to ensure successful implementation of digital platforms and digital capacity and capability across the HHS.
- Participate in innovation and change to develop responses to address emerging service needs to ensure the successful implementation of the digital platform.
