Role details
The Research Support Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Nurse Unit Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
This role will:
- Provide leadership and management of the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) multi-disciplinary team.
- Be responsible for staff reporting to the position and/or education and research advice.
- Be responsible for building and expanding clinical trials across the MHHS.
- Financial accountability for clinical trial unit financial requirements and monitoring.
About the Team
Mackay Institute of Research and Innovation (MIRI) is an emerging health service-led translational research and innovation centre; a collaboration between MHHS and our academic partners. The core functions of the Institute are:
- Leading cutting edge translational research and innovation.
- Implementing clinical trials.
- Implementing evidence-based practice into patient care.
- Implementing innovations that improve productivity and safety.
- Supporting clinicians to undertake in research in areas of strategic interest.
- Working with key partners.
