Older Persons, Subacute and Rehabilitation Services provide a range of inpatient and community services focussing on interprofessional care, integration of services, preservation and restoration of health and vitality in managing complex health conditions, system navigation and care planning.
About You:
In this position you will:
- Commensurate with level of experience apply independent professional judgement to clinical decision making using evidence based practice and initiate contact with senior staff for guidance in managing complex cases when required.
- Provide and maintain safe, ethical, equitable effective and efficient physiotherapy services through day to day planning, service prioritisation, demand management, administration and resource management.
- Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through self directed learning, active learning within the team, appropriate engagement in professional supervision which meets registration requirements and by engaging in professional development activities and regular performance and development plans.
- Actively participate in quality improvement activities including the development, adaptation, implementation and evaluation of clinical practices, procedures and protocols including effective risk management to enhance the delivery of safe and efficient clinical services.
