This role reports to the Principal Advisor Regional Services, Darling Downs South West Region.
As the SCLO, you will have the responsibility of providing quality advice and assistance to parents, carers and other members of the school community across the region, requiring this role to be the first point of
contact for parents, carers and other community members wishing to enquire about departmental policy and guidelines.
Taking an active role in assisting community members to resolve their concerns and complaints by providing a conduit between the parents, carers and other community members.

This role reports to the Principal Advisor Regional Services, Darling Downs South West Region.
As the SCLO, you will have the responsibility of:
- Providing quality advice and assistance to parents, carers and other members of the school community across the region, requiring this role to be the first point of contact for parents, carers and other community members wishing to enquire about departmental policy and guidelines.
- Taking an active role in assisting community members to resolve their concerns and complaints by providing a conduit between the parents, carers and other community members
- Listen and understand using empathy and compassion, to initial telephone contact with parents, carers and other community members' regarding concerns or complaints and refer them back to the school to negotiate a suitable outcome.
- Provide advice to parents, carers and other community members on a broad range of departmental policies and guidelines and assist them with their understanding of such policy and guidelines.
