About the role
The role provides high-quality evidence-based social work / psychology / occupational therapy services as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers of Caboolture Adult Mental Health Team (CAMHT), Metro North Mental Health – Redcliffe Caboolture (MNMH-RC) with a severe and complex mental health disorders, their families and carers, and relevant stakeholders. Care is delivered with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a trauma-informed recovery framework.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver competent-level social work / psychology / occupational therapy clinical services to consumers with severe and complex mental health needs within a multidisciplinary team, in accordance with professional practice, ethical, and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate, consumer-focused outcomes.
- Apply knowledge of mental health legislation and policy (including Mental Health Act 2016 and the National Mental Health Standards) to facilitate the delivery of coordinated and integrated services.
- Exercise increasingly independent clinical judgement and core problem solving skills and appropriate risk management strategies to a complex caseload with supervision from a more senior clinician, commensurate with level of knowledge and clinical expertise.
