Your new role:

As Cloud Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership of the Cloud Services function, ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud platforms that enable innovation and digital transformation across Metro South Health. You will:

  • Lead the development and execution of cloud strategy, roadmap, and governance aligned to enterprise and statewide digital health priorities
  • Oversee cloud platform operations, including secure landing zones, service delivery, and lifecycle management of cloud environments
  • Drive financial sustainability through cost optimisation, forecasting, and effective vendor and contract management (e.g. Microsoft, AWS)
  • Build and lead a high-performing Cloud Team, embedding agile, DevOps, and cloud-native practices to deliver measurable business value

About you:

You are a strategic and technically astute leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions in complex environments. You have:

  • Proven experience managing enterprise cloud platforms, including secure multi-environment landing zones within regulated settings
  • Strong leadership capability with demonstrated success developing and mentoring multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Deep understanding of cloud governance, cybersecurity, compliance, and IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, vendors, and FinOps practices, coupled with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
