Step Into Your Next Chapter:

Our Industry and Vocational Training Officer will be responsible for building productive partnerships with schools, industry and training providers to delivery School Based Traineeships, Apprenticeships and work experience programs that support informed career pathway choices for our secondary students. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with industry and business to support school-based apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities for students.
  • Developing engagement activities and marketing the benefits of school-based traineeships, apprenticeships and TAFE training as career pathways.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with employers, training providers and apprenticeship support agencies.
  • Provide regular updates of program outcomes and identify issues that may impact success of the program or individual students.

The Perfect Fit:

  • Demonstrate strong partnership-building and stakeholder engagement skills with experience supporting young people in education or employment pathway programs.
  • Bring strong organisation and administrative capability, including record management, data and compliance requirements.
  • Work effectively with school leadership, external partners, parents and students.
