Your new role:
As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering expert clinical pharmacy services while supporting safe, high-quality patient care across multiple facilities by:
- Providing advanced clinical pharmacy services including medication history taking, medication reviews and pharmaceutical care planning.
- Using independent clinical judgement to manage complex patient caseloads and discharge medication reconciliation.
- Delivering high-level advice to medical, nursing and allied health teams on medicines management and patient care.
- Supervising pharmacists, interns, students and pharmacy support staff within the service.
- Leading medication safety, quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
- Contributing to education, research and service development across Logan-Beaudesert Health Service.
- Participating in rotational rosters, overtime and on-call services as required.
About you:
You will be an experienced and motivated pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment with:
- Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated high-level clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience in hospital settings.
- Strong ability to manage complex clinical workloads and make sound professional decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven leadership capability in supervising, mentoring and developing others.
- Experience in quality improvement, medication safety or research activities.
- Flexibility to work across varying shifts and locations within Metro South Health.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
