About the role
Permanent full-time or part-time opportunity (up to 1.0 FTE) to deliver high‑quality anaesthetic care in accordance with ANZCA guidelines and accepted clinical practice, provide clinical support to services including Acute Pain and Pre‑admission Clinics, participate in after‑hours and on‑call rosters, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to clinical leadership, teaching, quality improvement and service development activities as directed by the Director of Anaesthetics.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide high-quality Anaesthesia clinical care and work within the bounds of commonly accepted good clinical practice and The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) Guidelines.
- Provide clinical support to the Acute Pain Service and Pre-admission Clinic.
- Participate in the after-hours consultant weekend and on-call roster in Anaesthesia.
- Undertake other clinical duties as may be required by the Director of Anaesthesia
- Consult and collaborate with other hospital staff and multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring a high level of patient-centred clinical care at all times.
