Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $101,511 to $119674 p.a. (HWF4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
The purpose of this position is to ensure that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients accessing kidney transplant services receive effective, coordinated and culturally capable health care.
The Senior Health Worker (Identified) will play a key role in the North Queensland Kidney Transplant multidisciplinary team, providing expertise to integrate culturally capable care that considers the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, their families, and carers.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualification - Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care and proof of registration (if applicable)
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
