In this role, you will assist with the day to day administration of QPT's investment operations, helping to ensure funds held in trust for customers are managed accurately, consistently and in accordance with policies and procedures. You will work closely with colleagues across Investment Services, contributing to reliable financial processes and quality service delivery for Queenslanders.
This is a temporary opportunity from 25 May up to 31 December 2026 based in Brisbane, offering flexibility and the chance to develop your administrative career in a values driven public sector organisation.

About you
You are a well‑organised and reliable administrative officer who takes pride in accuracy and enjoys working as part of a team. You are comfortable following established processes, managing routine tasks, and supporting financial administration activities under guidance.
You'll succeed in this role if you bring:
- Experience providing administrative or business support in a financial, investment or corporate environment.
- Strong attention to detail when processing information and maintaining records and systems.
- Sound time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet agreed timeframes.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A willingness to learn systems, procedures and legislation relevant to the role.
- A professional approach that demonstrates integrity, respect and commitment to workplace safety and inclusion.
While not mandatory, tertiary qualifications or study in finance, economics, mathematics or financial planning will be highly regarded.
