About the role
The purpose of this position is to be a positive team member within a multidisciplinary team, providing administrative support to key stakeholders within the Day Procedure Unit and Theatre environment, and a high level of professional customer service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with metro North Hospital and Health Services' core values, as outlined above.
- Screen incoming telephone calls and provide initial responses within delegation and examine and prioritise incoming correspondence.
- Manage correspondence to ensure all correspondence is received, actioned and responded to in line with deadlines and complies with Queensland Health policy.
- Exercise judgment and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
